Whether the following sentence is grammatically correct?
The Board reviewed both the auditor's findings as well as the management responses.
The above usage is quite common and is widely used by so many people including well known authors.
My doubt is - Is it ok to use both and as well as? Some say that when we use the word both, the word as well as is redundant. Alternatively, some say that we should only write as under:
The Board reviewed both the auditor's findings and the management responses.
