which country invented non standard units

Humans have been trying to measure things (How big, or short is something) in their own way. So, as the human civilization grew, different systems of measurement grew in different places on earth. Now, as these places came to interact with each other, there was a need for common system of measurement, called as a standard system.

All the other systems which differ from it are called non standard.
