Which hormone stimulate/regulate milk formation in mammary glands?
a) Prolactin b) Oxytocin c) Progesterone
(According to NCERT all are correct but if in exam it comes then which one to choose. Pls clarify my doubt)

Dear Student, a). Prolactin promotes the growth of mammary glands and formation of milk in them. b). Oxytocin acts on the smooth muscles of the body and promotes their contraction. It stimulates milk ejection from the mammary glands. c). Progesterone helps in the secretion of milk from the mammary glands. If all option comes then you go with prolactin. Regards
