Which landform is suitable for agricultural practices

Dear student,

Flood plains and Alluvial plains are mainly considered as most fertile landforms because they are rather flat, contain fertile river silt, and have adequate access to water. The alluvial soil being rich in Potash, Lime and Phosphoric acid, which are ideal for the growth of crops like Sugarcane, etc.

The plains are suitable for agricultural practises as it has got favourable climatic conditions and has got rich deposits of silt and sand brought down by rivers which provide fertility to the land and the rivers also provide water for irrigation.
