We can control fire using following ways:
1) By using fire extinguishers. They contain carbon dioxide which is non-combustible gas.
2) We can put water in case of burning wood or cloth. Water cannot be used if fire is caused due to electric shot circuit or oil or petrol.
3) By putting blanket over the burning substance. It cuts off oxygen supply and stops fire.
4) By putting soil over the burning object.
