Which were the different groups of people in Russia, who didn't want a complete transformation ? Mention them and their principles.

The two groups that didn't want complete transformation were Liberals and Conservatives. 
1. Following were some of the ideologies of the Liberals:
a. The concept of liberalism is very broad and comprehensive.
b. The ideology became popular in the early 19th century.The term ‘liberalism’ is derived from the Latin word liber, meaning free.
c. For the new middle classes liberalism stood for freedom for the individual and equality of all before the law.
d. The idea of liberal nationalism emphasised on the government based on consent. Government where constitution is supreme and is based on the free will of the people as reflected in the  French revolution, which inspired all in Europe,
e. The liberals didn't want complete transformation of the system of equality. They disregarded women as equal They treated women as 2nd class citizens. 
f. They did not believe in universal adult franchise.

2. 
Conservatives were different from radicals and liberals. They believed that the past had to be respected and revolution or transformation  had to be brought about gradually.  They disliked changes. 
Conservative groups have got an ancient ideology. They think that all is present in their age has to stay like that.
