The king's crown was knocked down as the arch was built very low. Out of anger, the king ordered that the person who was responsible for the construction of the arch should be hanged. But, even after much discussion, the king was unable to reach a conclusion. Therefore, the wise man was called so that he could give him some advice as to who should be hanged. The wises man was the oldest man in the city. The verdict of the wisest man was that the culprit must be hanged and since, the arch had made the crown to fall, it was the real culprit.
