These are Special Types of Inflorescence.
- Verticillaster:A cymose inflorescence resembling a whorl but actually arising in the axils of opposite bracts, as in most mints.
- Hypanthodium:In this type of inflorescence the receptacle becomes spherical with a cavity inside.
- Coenanthium: It is an inflorescence with a nearly flat receptacle having margins that are slightly curved upwards.
