Why can't we see an earthworm standup straight like us ?

An earthworm does not have a skeleton made up of bones and cartilage to support its body weight and stand erect.

We can't see a earthworm standing up like us because they don not have internal skeleton made of bones and cartilage.And they lack effficent way to support a lage body.
