Why cant humans breathe through skin when they are more advanced and complex than frog?

Humans breathe 98% through lungs, wherein their skin less than 1% of Co2 is diffused out and its exchanged with O2 as the major part of the gaseous exchange happens in alveoli of lungs. Whereas in frog the rate of diffusion is very much higher due to the moist skin and its interaction with water.
