Why clayey soil is used to make pots and toys?

This soil retains moisture and becomes very sticky when wet. Dry clayey soil is hard so the pots and and toys will not break. Hence clayey soil is used to make pots and toys

actually it is wet and consist the smallest amount of particles and very smooth and if we give any shape to it, it will remain same and solid after drying so thats why clayey soil is used to make pots and toys
