Why did Michael fail in rescuing Sebastian Shultz in all the games expect Warzone.

In the first game, Michael was attempting to escape along with the second Sheriff on the horseback when a gun shot echoed and Michael found that the sheriff slumped back against him. The second attempt was the rescue from the dragon. Michael and Sebastian tried to escape from the roaring dragon. But, the dragon appeared at the end of the corridor and got hold of Sebastian before Michael could save him. The third test was the 'Jailbreak'. Both Michael and Sebastian, ran past the dogs, the wailing sirens and the heavy boots and climbed upwards on the staircase. However, Sebastian slipped down from the terrace and fell to the concrete below. The last and the final attempt was the 'Warzone' in which there was a war place with bombs and firings. The two ran across the no-man's land and went through a door in the wall. The ran towards the helicopter but the tank fire sent them scuttling back to the wall. Michael climbed onto a jeep that lay waiting for them and though he shouted out for Sebastian, he couldn't save him and the tank crashed into the jeep. However, with much effort, he was able to pull Sebastian into the helicopter and the helicopter soared into the air. This was how Sebastian was rescued by Michael.
