Why did Velu leave his home?What you think whether the decision taken was right or wrong?

velu left his home coz he could not bear anymore abuse from his dad ...his dad used to beat him and his sisters and would snatch away all the money they  had earned. and it was wrong for him to run away coz he is too young and knows nothing about the city and jobs.he should have stayed in his village.
