why did zahi hawass said that the mummy was in a very bad condition as carter did in 1920s?

zahi hawass said so because carter had scraped out the mummy in pieces from the coffin which was attached with the coffin with the help of solidified resins and after doing his reasearch he had kept the mummy back in a very disturbed manner and that made it look like in a very bad condition

carter had dismantled the mummy into pieces just to have a look at the golden coffin... he dismantled it as the ritual resins had stuck the mummy to the base of the gold coffin...
