Why do small scale industries suit developing countries like india?

Small scale industries require lesser amount of capital  and technological advancement to operate when compared to large scale industries. A developing country like India has limited capital resource to invest and lesser technological advancement due to which large scale industries are not feasible to operate. In this case small scale industries can operate easily as their capital and technical requirement are less and can be meet by the resources available in a developing country.
