Why do the monsoon winds change their direction ?

The South-West Monsoon winds change their direction due to the following reasons,

• With the movement of sun towards south,the monsoon trough over the northern plains weakens.
• This is replaced by a high pressure system.
• The south west-monsoon winds starts withdraws from the Northern plains.
