why do we see only one side of the moon always?write in easy and short.

Dear Student,

a. The Moon rotates on its own axis and nearly takes the same  to revolve around the Earth and rotate on its own axis.
b. In fact moon takes 27 days and 8 hours to rotate on its own axis, which is same as it takes to revolve around the earth.
 c. That's what keeps the same side of the Moon always facing the Earth.
