Why do we use a plane mirror to see our image but dont use a duster surface?

Plane mirror causes regular reflection of light. When a parallel beam of light is incident on a plane mirror it is reflected back parallely. Due to this property a plane mirror is used to see our image and not a rough surface.

duster surface have many irregularities so in this surface, diffused reflection takes place.

as mirror is almost plane and regular reflection takes place so we can see our image in it.
