Why do you think that elections are carnival of democracy?

Elections are a carnival of democracy because it involves the participation of the entire adult population of the country for choosing political representatives.People through elections get the opportunity to express their will in a massive scale. If people are dissatisfied with the performance of the ruling party they can replace the government by casting vote for the opposition in the elections. Elections are a platform for the people to show their dissatisfaction and grievances.
