The earth is called an ailing planet as it is suffering due to the over exploitation and abuse of its natural resources. Over population and pollution have caused havoc in the earth's natural environment and eco-system. Man is not only responsible for the deteriorating condition of the planet and depletion of resources but also poses a danger for other living-species. We litter the earth with dangerous non-biodegradable substances and further cause the earth's deterioration. We are the ones who endanger wildlife due to our selfish motives. Earth can be safeguarded and protected when we adopt the mantra of 'reduce, reuse and recycle'. Sustainable development should be our goal. Preservation and conservation are the answer to our troubles.
