Why does veins carry a little amount of oxygen with them

Dear student, The veins carry blood from the body parts toward lungs for oxygenation. The oxygen is taken from the lungs and supplied to different body parts for performing the necessary activities. Thus, the blood returning to lungs through veins from the body parts has low oxygen level. Regards

Because veins carry blood from body parts after respiration  to lungs for oxygenation. So they carry deoxygenated blood i.e. a little amount of oxygen.
