Why has the narrator named the story as " Ranga's Marriage? "

The narrator did not wish to give a fancy title to the story like ranganatha vijaya or anything else. Since the story was about his very own village's Ranga, he wanted to keep the title short and simple.

First is the raw mango. The sourness of its bite is sure to get straight to the brahmarandhra, i.e. the soft part in child?s head where skull bones join later. Second specialty is a creeper growing in the water of the village pond. Its flowers are a feast to behold. You can serve afternoon meal to the whole family on its two leaves.

The narrator has used a humorous tone in the description of everything. justifying his title he says he could have given his story a fancy title like Ranga's Vivah ,ranganathana Vijaya or jaganatha Vijaya or Girija Kalyana but he wanted to keep a simple title for a simple story of the village. so he prefer to keep keep the title Ranga's Marriage so that it looks realistic
