Why Indian Judiciary is independent with respect to the following:
appointment of judges
Removal ofjugdes
Judicial review

The judiciary is independent in case of appointment of judges, removal of judges, judicial review because  the Judiciary as an institution has been made independent to exercise its professional responsibilities without any interference from the  Executive, and the Legislature. If it is not made independent than it would not be able to take judicious and correct decisions. It is also the guardian of the Constitution and for its protection also its independence is necessary.

It can even check the activities of the executive and legislature by regarding their decisions as as null and void if judiciary finds that such decisions are endangering the fundamental rights of the citizens.Only an independent Judiciary is able to render justice impartially on the basis of law, thereby also protecting the human rights and fundamental freedoms of the individual.
