why is euplectella called venus flower basket

Body structure of the sponge Euplectella is cylindrical like a flower vase with a height of 25 cm. It is home for a male and female shrimp that is why it is called venus flower basket. It is made up of silica so it looks like glass. These sponges live in deep sea with strong anchorage to the sea bed.
