why is range not added in open ended frequency distribution
Solution
In an open-ended class frequency distribution, the lower-class limit of the current class and the upper-class limit of the preceding class is the same. And range is calculated as the difference between the lower limit of the minimum interval and the upper limit of the maximum interval of the grouped data.
This is not possible in open ended.
