why is the growth of a tree a physical change ?

Physical change are those changes which involve a change in physical property like shape ,size, color etc. During the growth of tree there is an overall change in shape and size of the tree, because of which it is a physical change. Moreover growth of tree is also a chemical change because it is a biochemical process which is regulated by plant hormones and enzymes.
