why magnetising a piece of iron is a physical change?

Because no chemical reactions takes place and the iron will not hold the magnetic power for a long time.

becoz this is a temporary change and in this change no new substance is formed . iron will lose its magnetic power when it is demagnetised

because when we heat or drop the magnetised piece of iron, it loses its magnetic power

The weight of iron bar before and after passage of current remains same and no energy change occurs.so,it is a physical change.

Bcz iron get seprated by the magnet and also no new substance is formed

Because in heating iron it changes into ash and not come back into its physical state in cooling. Therefore it is a chemical change

as a desiccant to control local humidity to avoid spoilage or degradation of some goods.

Magnetizing a piece of iron is a physical change as in cource of time the iron may loose it's magnetic properties and get demagnetized.

Because in a chemical change a completely new substance is formed with different properties but here iron just magnetised. So it is a physical change.

It is a physical change because the piece of iron can be demagnetized by simple physical methods.
