Why mob became insighted more by Antony than by brutus

Brutus was an idealist. His speech was of a higher order that could not be understood by the common people. Antony on the other hand was a sophisticated political figure who could understand the feelings of the common people and then speak in order to win them over. He gives examples of the Feast of Lupercal which could be well understood by the common people. Moreover, his speeches had dramatic irony, prophecies and sarcasm. He used the literary devices to sway the mob against the conspirators. Hence, he was more successful than Brutus.
