why more people live in north of the equator than south of the equator?
More people live in north of the equator than south of the equator because:
a. Climate- The South Pole is much cooler than the North Pole. Actually the Antarctic temperatures are so low that snow never melts in some parts.
b. It is the Northern Hemisphere which is referred as the Land Hemisphere because the greater part of Earth’s landmass lies in the Northern Hemisphere.
c. Areas in the north have arable land which is perfect for cultivation.
