why predation is required in community in a different oranginsms?

predation is needed as coz not all animals are herviborus and actually if we see every one is predating on something . as for example-

herviborus animals on plants , carnivorous animals on the herbivorous animals , omnivorous on both carnivorous and herbivorous. 

so, predation is required for survival of the species and is required in different organisms.
