why seven colours combine to give almost white but not perfectly white colour?

Assuming that you wanted , 'why does the seven colours make white light but when we mix colours together they do not produce white light ? '
First thing to know is that the colours produced are not just seven colours as per dispersion we call it VIBGYOR but they consists of infinite combination of colours and not just seven .
the colours are seen when a specific wavelength of light is returned or reflected .For ex : the red is seen because all the light waves are observed by that object except red and it reflects red back . so it is seen red
when we mix some colours this is not the colours these are the objects that are observed as colours . So , we do not get the required white colours .
