why should oil and fats be not released in the drain?

Oils and fats harden and block the sewage pipes. In an open drain also, fats block porosity of soil which affects its water filtering efficiency. That is why oils and fats should not be released in the drain.

We should not throw oils and fats in drains because the harden and choke the drain pipes. Fats also choke the porosit of soil which affects the water table.Fats and cooking oil which i put in the drains also kill the microbes which help in purifiying the water which mkes the drain dirty and choked indirectly.

WE DONT THROW COOKING OIL AND FAT IN DRIANS BECAUSE IT HARDENS AND BREAK THE PIPE OF SEWAGE SYSTEM.
