why some amount of mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood can take place in cold blooded animals but not in mammals?how they can tolerate the mixing of blood ?

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Warm-blooded animals cannot tolerate mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood because they require a large amount of energy to maintain the body temperature. The mixing of blood will result in less supply of oxygen followed by less production of energy.
On the other hand, in cold-blooded animals, some amount of mixing of blood can be tolerated. This is because they do not have constant body temperature and do not need to fix their body temperature according to the changing environment. Hence, does not require a constant supply of energy.
