why telephoning interview considered to be better than personal interview ?

Telephone interview is cheaper than personal interview. 2.it can be conducted in a shorter period of time. Some time the respondents are reluctant to answer some questions in personal interview. Telephone interview are better in such situations.

this is bec telephone interviewing is cheaper than personal interviewing and also allows the user to ans questions which he would otherwise feel shy to answer or would not answer properly
