Everyone was thinking that after been separated for months Baba wouldn't recognise narrator's wife. When she was a few yards away from the cage Baba saw her and howled with excitement. She went to him and petted him through the bars. She didn't leave the cage for the next three hours. She fed him tea, lemonade, cakes, ice cream and more. When the zoo was about to close she cried bitterly.
