shawdows are formed when the rays of light are blocked by matter. in a no moon night there is no source of light thus there is nothing to be blocked and therefore there is no shadow formed.but if you stand in moon light on a night there will be a faint shawdow being formed.

i) This is because light produces in us the sensation to see.

.

ii) Whithout a source of light, we will not be able to see our shadow

.

iii) This is what happens in the night unless there is no moon because although, it is not a luminous object, it reflects the light of sun.
