Why we stir lemonade with a spoon.

Dear student,

Stirring increases the rate of dissolution. When you stir a solute, more surface area of the substance is exposed to the solvent. The higher the surface area in relation to volume is, the faster a solute will dissolve.  

So, while making lemonade we have to stir such that all the components get easily dissolved in the water. If you not stir then to get completely dissolved by itself it will take more tha 24 hours also.
