Wood is thrown in green dustbins because it is biodegradable.That means that it is Eco-friendly.It is very useful for our environment.It rots in the soil and makes the soil fertile.It acts like a natural fertilizer for the soil.

hi wood is put in green dustbins because all bio degradable materials are put in green dustbin so they can be recycled  and decomposd.
In the blue dustbins non- bio degradable materials are put so they can be disposed properly.
As they are not good for the environment.Also wood is a bio degradable material
