Why would others think Amanada's mother is nagging?

Dear Student,

Amanda's mother was a nagging mother. She constantly picked faults in Amanda's actions. She was very particular with what Amanda eats, how she sits, how she behaves, etc.

Dear student,

Amanda’s mother is certainly a nagging woman (a person who harasses others). Right from the beginning, we find that she keeps shouting at Amanda. She stops her from eating nails, bending her shoulders, not doing her homework, eating chocolates.

She finds some reason to scold her daughter. She never understands how it is having impact on Amanda. Because of constant torture, Amanda escapes to imaginations and desires freedom and peace which she does not get in her home because of her mother.

Regards.

Dear student,

Amanda's mother is speaking to her. She is constantly speaking to her, telling her what to do and what not to do.?Amanda is fed up of listening to her mother's instructions and in return begins to day dream whenever her mother starts to talk. For example, when Amanda's mother tells her to not bite her nails, she imagines that she is a mermaid who has no restrictions in swimming in a beautiful green sea. She is so tired of listening to her mother that she finds respite in thinking that she is an orphan. From this instance, we find that Amanda's mother is nagging.
