Without gender equality the women empowerment is meaningless .do you agree with the statement

Yes we agree with the statement . Examples-
1. Delhi Tourism has started project priyadarshani, where women cab drivers and tourist guides are inducted into the 'Incredible India' campaign.
2. In November 2008, 200 women were trained to join BSF (Border Security Force) and they were posted to Indo Pak border.

yes we agree with the statement because

it is not like with women empowerment girls should be given more importance ...
girls and boys should stay equally ...nor does the boy get more importance neither the girl 
if suppose all give importance to girls more than boys ..then it is also not right ..all should have equal rights 

so that is why without gender equality women empowerment is useless

AS we know that in earlier times, and today times also, women are not given respect. They are tortured to not go outside by themselves, not allowed to get education and not given high opportunities. How could the women live in male dominated places...... gender equality is very important for women empowerment because if there will not be any racial and gender discrimination between both, women empowerment is of course, at high rate. ex- international women day celebrated on March 8, tells us about the today women. Many women have also take the slides of success!!!
