Dear student.

Zygote Embryo Foetus
A zygote is the fertilized egg that will grow into a baby animal. Zygote when starts dividing after implantation to the uterine wall, it is known as embryo till eight weeks. Fetus is the term given to the organism from the eighth week of pregnancy till the time of birth.
When a female's ovum and a male's sperm cell unite, this cell is called the zygote. It is a single cell. The zygote multiplies, and grows into an embryo. An embryo may be defined as the organism in the earlier stages of the development. It is multicellular.  In humans, the fetal stage of prenatal development starts at the beginning of the 11th week in gestational age. It is also multicellular.
