DIARY ENTRY ON A DAY SPENT WITH MY FRIEND
 

Date: Day: Time: Dear Diary, I know I haven’t written to you in a very long while. I have been so busy with my exams. Finally, they were over. I think I did pretty okay. Right after my exams were over, I made plans with Rohit, my best friend, to spend the next Saturday together.    Thankfully, Saturday turned out to be a pleasant day. We both met up at the Orion Mall after breakfast. We first walked about the mall, exploring all the shops, and stopping for an ice cream on the way. I selected butterscotch as usual. And Rohit took chocolate. It was so delicious! We then went to the small rides section inside the mall. We hopped on every single ride and screamed our hearts out; it was so much fun!   After the rides, we went to the food court for lunch. We were pretty hungry by then. Our parents had given us enough pocket money and we happily spent it, trying different dishes out. With a full tummy, we then went in to the cinema hall to watch the movie ‘Kong: Skull Island’. It was pretty scary! I was tempted to close my eyes many times, but I bravely held on. Heh heh! The story wasn’t too great but the feeling of suspense throughout the movie was amazing. Rohit didn’t enjoy it much, but I did. I love action movies!   By the time the movie ended, it was time to head home. We had terrific fun and have already made plans to meet again before the holidays are over. I think all the stress during the exams had finally drained away. We really deserved that, diary!
