Subject: Frequent power cuts
I am a regular reader of your newspaper and wish to use the columns of your esteemed daily to bring to the notice of the authorities the problems created by frequent power disruption.
There are frequent power cuts in our colony. There is no schedule of the load shedding and it disrupts the daily routine. The young can not study due to no electricity, the old can not take proper rest, Housewives are unable to use electrical gadgets like mixers and washing machines. The problem becomes acute during summer months when the heat is unbearable without the use of coolers and air conditioners. Even the telecast of the swearing in ceremony of cabinet ministers was disrupted due to power cut. Kindly, make a fixed schedule for load shedding so that people can plan their activities accordingly.
I hope that the concerned authorities will take appropriate steps to rectify this problem.
