write a short note on Indian monsoon and how is it helpful for farmers

India receives two types of monsoons. Most of the country receives rain from the southwest monsoon during the months on June to September. The other monsoon is the northeast monsoon which brings rain to Tamil Nadu during the months of October and November. Monsoon rains are of immense importance to the farmers of India. Millions of farmers depend on the monsoon rains as a source of water for their crops. A monsoon failure usually leads to agricultural distress and loss of agricultural output.
