Forests are very important for our environment in many ways like-

1) They produce oxygen which is essential for life to sustain on earth.

2) They provide us with neccesities like food, shade, medicines, furniture, plastic, paper, rubber, etc.

3) They prevent global warming which is caused by increasing amount of carbon dioxide on earth.

4) They are the natural habitat of animals which are neccessary for balance in life.
