• The rise of the legal industry has been concomitant with the rise in the IT industry. Modern laws can deal with the challenges of today's society. Industries today have legal cyber cells to deal with cybercrimes.

Against

• Cyber laws have been made in reaction to cybercrimes. So, it can be argued that they come into existence only after the cybercrime has been committed. 
• Due to the cross country nature of cybercrimes, legal challenges emerge in tackling culprits of cybercrimes. Despite the best efforts of the legal authorities, most cybercriminals get off scot-free. This shows that cyber laws are not keeping up with today's internet technology.
