Write note on UIP

Dear student,

UIP stands for Usual interstitial pneumonia. This is a lung disease which involves the scarring of the interstitium and hence the name UIP. Common symptoms include shortness of breath and cough. As of now, the cause of the diesase is unknown. UIP can be diagnosed by doing a biopsy or using CT scan.
