• Their views on the Indian government were presented to people through papers like Maratha, Kesari, New India, and Young India.

• It was established by Aga Khan in 1916.
• The objective of the league was to safeguard the social and political rights of Muslims in the country. 
• The Muslims felt a need for the establishment of a political party for them after the Indian National Congress was formed.
