Write the differences between iron-sulphur mixture and iron sulphide-compound.Please explain

Dear Student, The difference between iron sulphur mixture and iron sulphide compound is same as the difference between mixture and compound. Mixtures are heterogeneous forms of matter. They are formed by the combination of two or more substances that are not chemically united and can be easily separated. For example: iron and sulphur are not joined together and can be separated. Compounds are homogenous forms of matter. The relative proportions of the elements in a compound are fixed and needs lots of energy to separate the components of a compound. For example: iron sulphide contains equal amounts of sulphur and iron and they cannot be separated from each other easily. Thanks and Regards.
