WTO is an organisation set up with an aim to help countries develop and conduct free and fair trade,by removing the trade barriers. it tells developing countries to liberalise trade to increase the development . but in practice it is seen that WTO let's the developed countries to keep the trade barriers. this is unfair and it affects the countries without barriers a lot.

."WTO is not making rules fairly" Explain the term with an example
Ans. To regulate World Trade Organisation is one such organization whose aim is to liberalize international trade.
WTO is supposed to allow a free trade for all, in practice, it is seen that the developed countries have unfairly retained trade barriers.
. On the other hand, WTO rules have forced developing countries to remove trade barriers and subside.
. For Eg, The Farmers of US receive massive sums of money from the US government for production and for exports to other countries. Due to this massive money, US farmers can sell the farm products at abnormally low prices. Developed countries have reduced trade barriers as per WTO but the governments of developed countries have ignored the rules of WTO.

WTO (World Trade Organization) was set up initially with the main aim of cunducting free and fait trade and helping countries develop.it does so by removing trade barriers of the country. But it is dominated by developed countries, so they get to keep their trade barriers. This is not fair for the developing and underdeveloped.
